Obtain Liquidity Moves To Fourth Place In The World Junior Chess

Indian IM obtain liquidity Santosh Gujrathi continued good race when he defeated Grandmaster Croatia Sasa Martinovic in fourth place with 7.5 points while GM and GM B Adiban SP Sethuraman was held to draws in the11th round of the 50th World Chess Championship Junior on Saturday.

With two more rounds to enter the prestigious championship, the Grand Master Robert Hovhannisyan Armenian remains the only leader with nine points.

Hovhannisyan was held to a draw against Polish Grandmaster Dariusz Swiercz on the table. Dariusz was unable to break the Berlin Wall was adopted by Hovhannisyan.

Although he managed to win two pawns, the game quickly petered out in opposite color bishop ending where the two additional pieces were not so, and a ceasefire was declared on 48th Move.

Adhiban to place third with eight articulation points along Vasif Durarbeyli (AZE), Vladislav Kovalev (BLR) and American Grand Master Ray Robson.

Indian GM SP Sethuraman played a fighting game inspired by Richter Rauzer strong variation of the Sicilian Defence against American GM Ray Robson.
