
A brilliant performance adolescence Khalin Joshi helped the Indian golf team to end a drought medal 18-year-long with a bronze medal at the championships team championship for the Asia-Pacific Nomura Cup Golf Friday.
Joshi was also tied for third place in the individual positions here.
The Indian team, was third after three rounds at the Denarau Golf Club held his position and finished on the podium, as the total of 211 fourth and final round for a total of 865.
Nomura Australia won the Cup for the ninth time with a final round of 201 and a total of 840, while New Zealand finished second in the 861 with a final round 209.
Korea was the fourth and fifth Japan as the first three cards is calculated daily.
It was India's first medal race since 1993, when the Indian team, which consists of Amit Luthra, Amritinder Singh, Arjun Singh and Jyoti Randhawa won the bronze medal.
