Cesc Fabregas transfer to Barcelona is complete after the Spanish midfielder has signed a five-year contract Monday.
Fabregas, who returns to the club that nurtured him, before joining Arsenal in 2003, entered the field with the jersey No. 4 before bouncing the ball and greeting fans, always touching the ridge between Barcelona and looking kisses overwhelmed the long-awaited return.
Many fans carried banners reading "Welcome back Cesc," as he put the shirt were blue and red as a Barcelona player for the first time since 2003.
Fabregas has announced his desire to return to Barcelona after the 2009-10 season, but Arsenal refused to sell its most valuable player, Fabregas and agreed to stay another year.
